The Petroleum Engineer will review and steward petroleum and production engineering practices, focusing on production technology deployments, smart well completions, well stimulations, artificial lift, waterflood excellence and production system optimization.

This position involves being seconded to our esteemed client’s offices in the UAE, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering is a strong advantage.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in petroleum and production engineering, with a focus on advanced production technologies and optimization.
  • Proven track record in waterflood management, artificial lift systems, and production system optimization.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing smart well completions and advanced production stimulation techniques.
  • Deep understanding of artificial lift technologies and methods.
  • Strong experience with production system analysis, including nodal analysis and optimization.
  • Expertise in waterflood excellence, including injection strategies and reservoir performance evaluation.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production challenges, optimizing performance for sustainable operations.
  • Competence in analyzing production data and integrating results into actionable strategies.
• Innovation and Technology Deployment:
  • Experience in deploying cutting-edge production technology solutions to enhance recovery and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with digital oilfield technologies, automation, and real-time monitoring systems.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, including reservoir engineers and geoscientists.
• Communication and Reporting:
  • Excellent communication skills to present technical findings and optimization strategies to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience in preparing detailed engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Industry Knowledge:
