PanTerra Geoconsultants is building a pool of experienced subsurface professionals for upcoming projects in Oman.
We are looking for senior specialists who can contribute to multidisciplinary field development studies, reservoir studies and targeted petroleum engineering assignments.
The work will bring together different subsurface disciplines depending on the requirements of each project, with opportunities for both integrated studies and focused technical assignments.
We are particularly interested in experienced professionals who have worked in multidisciplinary oil & gas field development environments and can contribute independently while working effectively within an integrated team.
We are interested in professionals with 10+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
Reservoir Engineering
- Field development studies and integrated FDP work
- Dynamic reservoir modelling and simulation
- History matching and production forecasting
- Material balance, PVT and well-test analysis
- Volumetrics and reserves
- Intersect experience is required
Petrophysics
- Integrated petrophysical evaluation within field development studies
- Well-log interpretation and reservoir characterisation
- Integration of petrophysics with geology, seismic, reservoir engineering and production
- Techlog experience is required
Production Technology
- Production optimisation and production enhancement
- Well inflow and vertical flow performance
- Well completion design
- Artificial lift and sand control
- Drilling and completion interfaces
- Petroleum Expert IPM experience is required
Production Geology
- Static reservoir modelling
- Reservoir characterisation
- Sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology
- Core interpretation and core logging
- Petrel experience is required
Seismic Interpretation
- 3D seismic interpretation
- Well-to-seismic ties and synthetic seismograms
- Horizon and fault interpretation
- Time-depth conversion
- Seismic attribute interpretation
- Reservoir characterisation using seismic, well and core data
- Petrel experience is required
Concept Engineering
- Petroleum field development and concept engineering experience
- Experience supporting integrated field development studies
Contract / QAQC Management
- Contract management, project QA/QC and delivery of technical studies
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Project Coordination
- Coordination of multidisciplinary petroleum engineering studies
- Planning, scheduling, reviews and deliverables
- This role may be combined with one of the technical disciplines
The tender specifically requires the core subsurface technical professionals assigned to integrated FDP work to have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
