As Supervisor Reservoir Geology, you will be responsible for the operational management of the reservoir geology department, providing subsurface studies for clients worldwide. You will be involved in all aspects of staff management, project management, marketing, and report QC. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and propose solutions that meet their expectations and budget.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Operational management of the team: project planning, resource planning and project coaching. Project administration, monthly invoicing and reporting to management.
- Staff management: performance appraisals, new staff recruitment, training.
- Project acquisition: proposal generation, quote preparation, clients liaison, supplier price negotiations.
We are looking for candidates with the following background:
- A relevant education on at least MSc level;
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in reservoir geology; i.e. sedimentology and petrography;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Pro-active, decisive, and excellent people management skills;
- Experience in project management and proposal writing.
PanTerra is conveniently located in Leiderdorp, near the historic University town of Leiden which is a beautiful city in the Netherlands. Leiden boasts a large number of museums and a thriving cultural climate and with its close proximity to Amsterdam, it is also within easy reach of Schiphol airport, which is the main airport in the Netherlands.
We offer a 1-year contract at start, but with the intention to extend to a permanent contract afterwards.
